Watercolored Floral Essence

Hello Everyone ~ I have a pretty Watercolored Floral Essence creation for you today.

I had my water aerobics class then ran a few errands.  When I got back I took the last 4 drawers I had glued the support to and nailed it in for added support and then put them back in the cabinet.  I added some of my supplies to the drawers so that cleaned out a few bins/boxes.  I also worked on some watercolor ideas one of which I have for today.  Today I have a workshop at 2 as most of the ladies are on vacation.  Before they come I will be packing up some of my baskets and moving them into the attic storage.  Then I will set up for the class.  I will need to work on the bookmarks and more cards for the blog after the class.  I have to also work on my projects for the Facebook Live on Thursday evening.  I know what I want to do just need to get it done.  Busy, busy day!

I saw an idea on a you tube video I wanted to try so I decided today would be a good day for it.  I began my using 3 colored reinkers ~ Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Pretty Peacock.  I put a dot of each on my craft mat and spritzed it with water.  Then taking a piece of watercolor paper I spritzed it with water also.  The watercolor paper was then smooshed into the ink.  When I had the paper totally covered with the ink, I used my heat tool to dry it.  I then went back and smooshed the dry paper back into the ink still on my mat.  The paper was then again dried using my heat tool.  Now that I have my watercolored paper, I can stamp my image.  I used a stamping tool as I knew I would have to stamp it more than one time since I had used watercolor paper.  After I got my images stamped I fussy cut them out.  Then I used the leaf punch to punch out some leaves from the remaining pieces of the watercolor paper.  Now I can put my card together.  I used a Pretty Peacock card base.  A Whisper White panel was stamped with the leaf from Painted Harvest to add some interest to the background piece.  This panel was then added to the card base.  I took a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock and the Delicate Lace dies and cut the top of the strip.  Since I wanted my sentiment in the middle of the strip with the die cut on each side I decided to stamp and emboss my sentiment.  After I had my sentiment embossed, I lined up the Delicate Lace die and cut the other side of the strip.  This embellishment was added using Tear & Tape.  To finish my card I took the flowers I had fussy cut and added the punched leaves to the back using glue dots.  The flowers were then added using dimensionals.  Using a circle punch ~ this was a retired punch and I think it is about 3/8″ as it is smaller than 1/2″ ~ and the Sparkle glimmer paper I punched the circle and added to the center of the flower using glue dots.  Here is my completed Watercolored Floral Essence.
